Local Missions

What is the importance of doing service within the community?

Everyone has been blessed with talents, abilities, passions, and experiences. These gifts have been given for one purpose… to serve God by serving others. Coastal offers many opportunities for you to serve. If you are interested in serving, we encourage you to read about the different service projects we have, and to get in contact with the service leader for the specific one you’re interested in. As a church, we desire to show the love of Christ to Brevard County, and its surrounding areas, by serving the various needs of our community. The good thing about service is that there are many areas of opportunity for you to be involved in a ministry that reflects your specific God- given talents and desires of your heart to live a life of purpose. It also allows you to not only serve, but also to get to know and fellowship, both the people you are serving, and the people with whom you are serving. Though that service and fellowship hopefully you will begin to understand the mission you’re doing and the motivations behind those ministries. We are always searching and praying for new opportunities to serve and care for our local community. Contact Pastor Tracy Claytor for service opportunities tracy@coastalcommunity.net

Walk on Water Ministries

Walk on Water Ministries  mission is to provide a place where children with special needs, at risk individuals, Veterans and their families can come to gain the health benefits of interacting with horses and other animals, developing responsibilities through encouragement and healing through serving. Provide community volunteer opportunities to allow typical and extra special people to interact and learn together and to facilitate language and reading skills through animal interaction.
