Thanksgiving Baskets
This year to help families in need during the Thanksgiving season, we are asking our church family to put together “Thanksgiving Baskets.” Below is a list of all of the items that go in each basket. These basket will be handed out through our Food Pantry ministry as well as to specific families in the community who we know are struggling this holiday season. Baskets need to be dropped off at the church no later than Thursday, November 20, by 4:00 PM. Basket List:
- 1 plastic laundry basket
- 2 cans or packets gravy (mix)
- 2 cans of green beans
- 1 large bag of potatoes
- 1 large bag of sweet potatoes
- 2 cans of corn
- 1 can of cranberry sauce
- 2 boxes or bags of stuffing mix
- 2 boxes of macaroni and cheese
- 1 box of cornbread mix
- 1 non-perishable dessert (pumpkin pie filling, cake mix, brownie mix)
- Holiday napkins and paper plates
